Enjoy what wider Christchurch has to offer with a stunning coastal hike adventure tour with an historical commentary followed by a delicious and relaxed lunch in a port town. Considered one of the most scenic walks in the Christchurch area, this trail lies off the beaten track, making for an ideal getaway to explore.

We’ll begin at 9:30 am when I will collect you from your accommodation. We will then head through the city and then take a short drive to the start of the track. The harbour walk is 2 hours maximum (30 mins to 1 hour by request) and it is incredibly photogenic. I’ll happily take your photos and walk at your pace. The rich history of the area will surprise you. We will be finished by 1:30 pm.
Afterwards, we will drive to a picturesque historic port town to enjoy a leisurely wholesome lunch before dropping you either at your accommodation or in the central city.

More Tips

No need to be super fit, however you need to wear walking shoes and be steady on your feet. The walk around the Bays is generally flat but it finishes with a 15-minute gradual hill climb. There is the option to reduce the walk to a shorter walk with no hill climb for those less fit.
